It's going to be relaxed and enjoyable. We'll have music, lots of cool air, and probably a bunch of laughs! Shaleem will help you with different poses and show you some pictures as we go. A common question is, "What should I do with my hands?" Don't worry—Shaleem will give you tips! Your photo session will be about an hour to an hour and a half. Photoshoots can be tiring, so we won't keep you here longer than that!
What To Expect
The perfect time for maternity sessions is typically between weeks 28 and 32 of pregnancy. To secure your spot, it's recommended to reach out during your second trimester. Due to limited availability, last-minute requests may not always be accommodated. Your first step is to contact Shaleem and provide your due date to begin scheduling.

Scheduling
Before your session, you'll talk with Shaleem about what you like and what you want to wear. Shaleem can help you choose outfits and backgrounds to make you feel good during your appointment. Even though Shaleem has lots of clothes for maternity photoshoots, you can also bring your own if you want.

Pre-Consultation
Maternity sessions are hosted at the Shaleem Love Photography studio in Albany, NY. Every session is tailored to your preferences, with Shaleem available every step of the way to ensure a personalized and exceptional experience. You'll leave feeling confident, beautiful, and empowered, embracing the journey of nurturing new life.
3.
The Session
As soon as we finish taking the photos, you'll choose the pictures you want and put together your package. After you've chosen, Shaleem will start making the photos look perfect. He’ll fix things like panty lines or any marks on your skin, and adjust dresses if necessary. Your final, edited pictures will be ready in about 2 - 4 days after your session, and you'll get them through an online gallery. I know you're excited to see them, and I don't like making you wait for weeks to get them back.
